Babar Azam recently engaged in a conversation with former PCB chairman, Ramiz Raja on a local news channel.
During the discussion, Ramiz asked Babar to rate the difficulty of facing four prominent bowlers in international cricket: Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Mark Wood.
Babar revealed that he considers Pat Cummins as the toughest bowler he has faced, followed by Bumrah, Wood, and Starc.
Babar spoke highly of Pat Cummins, praising his consistency and ability to analyze a batter’s weaknesses.
According to Babar, Cummins rarely bowls loose deliveries and is adept at setting up batters to take wickets.
He highlighted Cummins’ skill in varying his pace, often surprising batters with sudden changes in speed.
Babar’s comments come after his impressive performance in Pakistan’s series win over Ireland, where he scored a dominant 75 off 42 balls, including hitting Ben White for four sixes in an over.
